Kizomba has always been part and parcel of Helio's culture and life passage. His teaching methodology was personally developed as a result of his life path and experiences from traveling around the world sharing his knowledge. Helio's contemporary studies play a major role in his Kizomba style and techniques which equipped him with dexterity in movement and body contact. “Having studied conscious movement and contact improvisation allowed me to go deeper and understand our body’s infinite creative energy”.. “Kizomba is a place and a moment where two bodies can be in a conversation with each other and exchange an infinite creative energy”.
